We asked ourselves: Why shouldn’t the objects that deliver our music reflect the warmth of the music itself? This question birthed the MAKARTO audio collection. We approached the design of our speakers and record players as if we were designing furniture or sculpture. We chose rich walnut woods, textured cream fabrics, and matte brass accents—materials that feel at home next to a stack of books, a ceramic vase, or a lit candle.
